Scope of Job:

This position focuses on the production of content and promotional materials that support sales/marketing objectives for the products, services, and professionals within all divisions at BankWest. The Marketing Coordinator will also apply their strong communication skills to assist in the creation of customer communications ranging from consumer education efforts to operational and compliance-related notices. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will be called on to help manage the intake and dissemination of reports and data gathered via various primary and secondary sources.

Primary Duties:

Create accurate and relevant content for promotional materials including, but not limited to, advertising, video scripts, brochure copy, website content, email and direct mail.

Write and edit articles, letters, blogs, emails and other materials promoting consumer education on topics ranging from fraud to investments to financial wellness.

Create customer communication explaining how accounts, fees, and regulations affect various accounts, activities and customer relationships.

Assists in creating and monitoring posts and messages for social media and other digital channels, serving as back up to the Sales/Marketing Channel Manager.

Gather and report customer trends, concerns and feedback using primary and secondary research tools.

Assist in coordinating and promoting special events.

Secondary Duties:

Work as a team with departmental counterparts on planning and implementing assigned projects and products.

Participate on various committees and project teams as deemed appropriate by management.

Attend, actively participate in organization, job specific training offered, and Quality Service programs.

Adhere to all applicable Policies and Procedures of BankWest organization.

Community involvement is strongly encouraged.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience:

Three years of experience in marketing or communications with an emphasis on the production of campaign and communications materials.

Knowledge and Special Skills:

Ability to work dependently and/or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.

Ability to organize and handle multiple responsibilities while delivering quality external and/or internal Customer Service.

Strong writing, editing and general communications skills.

Knowledge or ability to learn regulatory requirements pertinent to performance of specified duties in job description.

Knowledge of banking (or insurance, trust, brokerage, abstract/title, appraisal) terminology & procedures.

Knowledge of BankWest products and services.

Ability to skillfully use a variety of application software, learn computer programs, and comprehend the program output.

Adhere to Federal Privacy Standards in addition to following BankWest requirements for electronic communication and Social Engineering standards.

BankWest is a "Sales Organization" and all employees are expected to participate directly or indirectly with increasing BankWest's presence in their markets as appropriate.
