Our client is seeking a Production Manager with specialized expertise in food manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacturing of products, ensuring production-, performance-, and quality- standards are consistently met
  • Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
  • Meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
  • Maximize business growth and profitability through strong analytical, collaborative, and influencing skills.
  • Work cross-functionally with the innovation teams to create seamless scaling of benchtop formulas to pilot production to commercialization.
  • Sustain a strong safety culture to ensure employees are working safely and injuries are prevented. Develop and maintain a plant environment that encourages full and active engagement with all team members, to ensure all ideas, suggestions, and feedback are heard and acted on.
  • Ensure that each department has the appropriate management and lead personnel who are responsible for fully training all positions to create an efficient and reliable operation.
  • Manage entire sanitation process and team

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of production management experience
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills
  • Food, beverage, and/or consumable products experience required
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations FDA, SQF, USDA is ideal

5-days a week onsite required
