Job Description The Manager of Human Resources leads Human Resources practices for CRMC in accordance with the Mission and Vision of the organization. The Manager of Human Resources coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the Sr. Director of Strategic Development and assists and advises managers about Human Resources issues.JOB DUTIES:Development of the Human Resources DepartmentDevelop and monitor an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee engagement recognition, and administrationSelect and supervise Human Resources consultant and training specialists, and coordinate company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sourcesMaintain compliant and appropriate policies, programs, and practices to help align workforce with strategic CRMC goalsEstablish departmental measures that support the accomplishment of CRMCs strategic goalsPrepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishmentEstablish the standard recruiting practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforceLead workforce retention strategiesEnsure regulatory and credentialing compliance for associates (not providers)Partner with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and lawsDetermine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivationConduct investigations in response to employee complaints or concernsMonitor and advise managers and supervisors in the corrective action system of the companyReview, guide, and approve management recommendations for employment terminationsLead the implementation of company safety and health programs; Monitor the tracking of OSHA-required data; focus efforts on improving workers compensation cost reductionEstablish the company wage and salary structure using competitive market rate studies, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systemParticipate in at least one salary survey per yearLead the development of benefit orientations and other benefits trainingMonitor compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program (OFCCP), Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) and so forth. Maintain minimal company exposure to lawsuitsManage employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet useIdentify and monitor the organizational culture so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals and promotes employee satisfactionMaintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policyThe Human Resources Manager assumes other responsibilities as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisionsStrong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skillsDetail oriented with proven ability to multitaskProfessional appearance and ease in developing rapport with othersDemonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff membersExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Microsoft OfficeExperience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programsEvidence of the practice of a high level of confidentialityExcellent organizational skills
