The Associate Global Brand Development Manager will be responsible for working closely with cross functional partners on the design and development team including product designers, brand creative, engineering and program management as well as brand legal, finance, analytics and insights team, consumer marketing team and our franchise and entertainment partners to support the creation of future product lines that inspire ownable play that ladders up to the universal truth of the My Little Pony brand.

This role will also be responsible for successful sell in of the product line to our global commercial markets to aid them in successfully selling in our plans to our retail partners. Location: This position can be based out of Pawtucket, RI OR Burbank, CA - Onsite/Hybrid in office A day in the life of Associate Manager, Global Product Management – My Little Pony: Work closely with the Hasbro Design Innovation Team and LCP Toys &Games development teams to ensure product innovation, and brand consistency are at the heart of all toy development lines. Partner with the Head of Product Management and LCP T&G Category leads to set up appropriate Stages and Gates for Licensee management alongside Hasbro development Gate Process (sync up development and long-range planning) Manage the T&G LCP global development approval process alongside the LCP Team - organizing meeting flow and meeting content and following up with key action points for all stake holders. Provide Hasbro and LCP teams clear visibility and timely feedback at each development ‘gate’ to ensure Swim Lane adherence. Lead development teams with commercial solutions to align content design and manufacturing limitations to best effect – while having firm understanding of internal capabilities as to direct the appropriate out license categories. Develop and maintain successful working relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Manage content flow between the Hasbro GPL team and the Licensed Consumer Products team to ensure we show up to the trade and consumers as one brand. Package all content uploads with background information and share with Hasbro and LCP development teams. Work colsely with Franchise Management team to keep up to speed with content development timing and development progress and sharing appropriate information in a timely way with Hasbro Product Development and LCP teams. Marketing , Advertising or related field. Knowledge of Product Development, manufacturing, and product approval processes Demonstrate complete affinity with brand goals and objectives. Extremely organized with a passion for detail. Strong project manager, with ability to juggle several priorities and meet tight deadlines. Adaptable with ability to work across a wide variety of brands and toy categories and at different stages of development. Excellent communicator both verbally and pictorially. The ability to develop strong working relationships with key internal/external stakeholders across functions and countries. Excellent administrative skills and proficient knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. The ability to apply analytical skills and translate them into a cohesive story that teams can quickly understand.
