The Budd Group is currently searching for an HR Professional to help with the recruiting, onboarding, and basic HR support for employees in Beaufort, SC. This person will be recruiting for janitorial positions for local schools and will need to work in person from our office to interview and help support candidates, employees and local managers.

Location: Beaufort, SC

Day/Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM (could vary depending on business needs)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruits qualified candidates for hourly, labor jobs
  • Manage all onboarding tasks when hiring new employees including New Hire Orientation
  • Maintain employee records
  • Conduct and review background checks and administer mouth swab drug tests.
  • Facilitate internal job fairs and attend external job fairs
  • Daily monitoring and sorting of the applicant pool.
  • Maintains a list of bench candidates for open positions, keeping them warm for future opportunities
  • Flexibility to cross-train on various accounts and their unique hiring needs and procedures
  • Review open positions and candidates being considered with managers regularly
  • Monitor recruiting metrics such as open orders, time to fill, retention, and turnover.
Required:
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting OR HR experience
  • Strong Skills with technology preferably Windows and the Google Suite
  • Effective communicator
  • Problem solver with the ability to find creative solutions
Preferred:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish both written and verbally
  • Previous HR experience/knowledge a plus
  • SHRM Certification is desired but if you don't have this we would pay for you to get it
  • General knowledge of computerized HRIS is helpful.
