Our international insurance client is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team in Encino, CA. The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as the primary interface between the leadership team, employees, and the assigned business unit or geographic area. In this role, you will offer expertise and direct assistance in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will act as the go-to resource for internal clients, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs. Collaborating with specialized HR teams as necessary, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services aligned with the organization’s overarching HR strategy. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business unit management to effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Work closely with other HR team members to address the unique needs of the assigned line of business and identify opportunities for improvement. Aid in setting departmental goals, objectives, and systems. Address employee relations and organizational development matters promptly and effectively, including conducting internal investigations and resolving complaints. Recommend practices to foster positive employer-employee relationships and enhance morale and motivation. Contribute to employee satisfaction and engagement efforts through surveys and action plan development. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of performance management processes. Stay abreast of HR laws, practices, and internal policies to provide accurate guidance to management and employees. Assist with HR education, training, and communication initiatives, including onboarding of new hires. Provide support to other support functions as needed, including safety, security, payroll, talent acquisition, and learning and development. Foster a culture of responsiveness, innovation, diversity, and excellence. Compile and submit reports from various HR database systems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management, business management, or related field, with 7 to 10 years of HR Generalist experience or equivalent. Extensive experience in full-scope HR Generalist roles, with a focus on Employee Relations activities. Familiarity with California Employment law is advantageous. Proven ability to build strong relationships with management and employees at all levels. Action-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Customer-service orientation and excellent influencing skills. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
