Summary/Objective: Reporting to either the Team Manager or Director of Recruiting, the Account Manager is responsible for recruiting and placing Traveling Medical Professionals at client facilities across the country, directly contributing to bottom line and company growth. This position is the engine that keeps the organizational car moving forward, having a direct impact on the growth and sustainability of the business. Day in the Life:Aggressively recruit, screen, profile and place Traveling Medical Professionals (TMPs) for travel assignments at client hospitals and facilities to support achievement of targeted growth through outbound calls and outreach.Participate in pay negotiations with potential TMPs to ensure bill rate and target margins are met for all new hires.Serve as manager and company liaison for Traveling Medical Professionals working in various hospitals. Act as a liaison between company and client facilities to monitor performance of TMP's.Responsible for service, retention, and management of a "desk" of Traveling Medical Professionals. Responsible for monitoring assignments to promote TMP retention and continuity of employment.Responsible for partnering with internal operations teams to achieve and maintain compliance with client's contractual agreement.Who Am I:College degree preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.2 years of experience in customer service, sales or healthcare staffing preferred.Ability to multitask.Proven record of detail management including documentation of detail.Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Data Entry and other computer or information databases.Experience tracking information through automated systems.Must be experienced with having access to confidential medical and employee information.Experience using online search tools, search engines, databases, and the internet.My Team: This role will not be responsible for supervising and internal corporate employees. This role will supervise traveling medical professionals (TMP's)Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is regularly required to sit and stand; occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
