Role Summary:

URBN is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Supply Chain Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Companys Finance and Supply Chain Operational teams. This role will support the Global Supply Chain Transportation teams efforts by providing sound analytics and financial schedules, while measuring and tracking ongoing operations and new initiatives. The role also supports the monthly financial close process of all transportation related areas. The Sr. Financial Analyst will develop and maintain working relationships with members of the Brand Operational and Finance teams, as well as all Supply Chain, Corporate and other Shared Service teams throughout the organization.

Ideal candidates will be highly motivated with a desire to understand broader concepts and principles as it relates to Supply Chain operational decisions and related financial impact. Must be able to work in a high-demand environment, work independently to meet deadlines and complete various projects/tasks as assigned. This individual is expected to be a self-starter, resourceful and process-improvement oriented.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Supporting invoice coding and payment allocation.
  • Capital expenditure tracking, monitoring and reporting.
  • Participation and support of the monthly financial close process and related duties as assigned.
  • Participation and support of the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting processes.
  • Auditing and monitoring of Supply Chain and financial information systems to support financial analyses.
  • Maintenance, creation and distribution of financial reporting and analyses generated by the Companys freight audit and payment system.
  • Support and maintain all Supply Chain Finance processes and internal controls and provide training/SOPs as applicable.
  • Partnership with Transportation/Brand Ops and Finance teams on various projects and strategies as required.
  • Analyze actual results, investigate and explain variance explanations vs budget and previous year.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency in the story behind numbers presented.
  • Prepare board-level materials/schedules as applicable.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly Supply Chain KPI schedules for monthly review and evaluation.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by Supply Chain, Brand and Corporate Finance teams.
Role Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, including variation analyses and other related P&L/BS reporting is preferred.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with distribution, transportation, and manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • Experience in financial modeling and application of budgeting techniques.
  • Ability to effectively interpret financial results and derive alternative insights.
  • Excellent skills in MSOffice Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal) with ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; critical thinker.

This role is hybrid in Philadelphia, PA, and in the office 4 days per week.
