Mission

As a member of the Events team, you are responsible for organising high profile events and multi-stakeholder projects in Belgium and in Europe, contributing to the positive image of CANDRIAM. You are also in charge of various event sponsorships.
Responsabilities

You organise internal and client events, according to briefings and allocated budgets, in Europe and even internationally.
You organise high quality events within the agreed timetable and budget.
You look for (new) venues and concepts in line with CANDRIAM's sustainable development policy.
You provide ad hoc support for the activation of sports sponsorships
You follow up on sponsored events in various European countries
You assist in the management of promotional items distributed in the context of sponsorships
You evaluate and report on the quality of the events/projects organised, based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders
You draw up the budget for each event/project and ensure its control (in a rigorous manner)
You negotiate the best possible conditions with suppliers

Profile

- You have a degree in Communication (specialisation: event planning) and/or Marketing or equivalent experience
- You have at least 2 years' experience in organising high-profile corporate events
- You are fluent in French, English and Dutch (or B1 minimum)
- You are curious and creative in your search for solutions and you are always on the lookout for new trends or ideas (venues, concepts, technologies, etc.)
- You are a good negotiator, tactful and a good communicator
- You put the customer first in everything you do
- You are efficient and able to meet tight deadlines with ease
- You are detail-oriented, meticulous, rigorous and pragmatic
- You are flexible and willing to work evenings or weekends from time to time
- You are a team player and flexible in working with others. You have strong interpersonal skills
