The Accounts Payable Analyst should exemplify efficiency and have a motivated attitude. This candidate will be adding value to the organization as whole and should be able to produce at a high level.

Accounts Payable Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Review and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to vendors in accordance with payment terms and company policies
  • Maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms and tax identification numbers. Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
  • Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvements
  • Prepare and distribute reports on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, cash flow projections and payment schedules
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations in accounts payable processes
Accounts Payable Analyst Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is strongly desired not required
  • Proficiency in Excel/Accounting Experience
  • Attention to detail
