***Ciber is searching for a Desktop Support Specialist for an opportunity in Georgetown, DE***

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you'll be motivated to supports in-house teams and respond to in-person to helpdesk tickets. You'll work out of Georgetown DE with frequent travel to Milford and Dover (not reimbursed). You'll diagnose, support, and track IT incidents, and provide hands-on PC and peripheral equipment troubleshooting, repair, and installation.

* 3+ yrs related desktop support including installs, configurations, troubleshooting

* Providing IT support for hardware & software

* 2 yrs. Window Servers (physical & virtual)

* 3+ yrs. support & config for Windows 7 & 10

* 1+ support & config of Mac OS

* 1+ building software packages for ONE of the following systems: SCCM, BigFix, MDT, KACE SMA

* Excellent communication skills

* Bachelors Degree

***Nice-to-Have***

* Mobile device support w/ iOS and/or Android

* Linux support, config, and reliable operation

***Day-to-day responsibilities not limited to***

* Execute Service Desk contact, problem, incident, and request management policies and procedures.

* Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and tracking of all computer-related incidents.

* Escalate problems and incidents to designated level 2 and level 3 help desk support personnel

* Reporting incident status and system outage notifications

* Logging incidents and problem resolution activities into a computerized tracking system.

* Maintain a robust and accurate knowledge base repository.

* Provide hands-on PC and peripheral equipment troubleshooting, repair, and installation support.

* Generate help desk-related performance statistics, as required.

* Train support staff, as required.
