Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the software engineering department, setting the technical vision and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Extensive experience in software development, including a significant period in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale software projects and delivering high-quality software products.

  • Strong experience with data engineering, data solutions/products, and overall end-to-end data architecture.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software engineering best practices and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to drive innovation and change.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of software engineering and data processes and methodologies.

  • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.

  • Proficiency in ETL tools and software.

  • Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Understanding of data practices such as Operational Data Store, Master Data Management, and Data Lakes.

  • Familiarity with cloud services and tools relevant to data engineering, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.
