Position Summary

The Senior Solution Architect, in alignment with the CTO, will lead the development of the technology architecture roadmap and will be responsible for defining appropriate frameworks and patterns based on a deep understanding of the technology, business strategy, and product roadmap. Serve as a technical lead in collaboration with other architects and engineers dedicated to the continual improvement of all of our products and Enterprise Services. This role will lead architecture reviews of designs presented by the engineering team leads and ensure they are supported and guided towards best practices that adhere to the technology roadmap. The Senior Solutions Architect will need to be familiar with the best practices for implementing architectural design principles including security, performance, scalability, observability, and testing. Day to day work in this role:

Lead implementation of and contribute to software to support internal and external users.

Ensure implementations are testable, secure, performant, scalable, and fault-tolerant.

Support the development of the technology roadmap.

Communicate project issues and/or risks in a timely manner.

Be able to operate in a highly regulated environment (SOX/SOC Compliance).

Experience & Education for our Sr Solutions Architect:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent skills and experience.

10+ years of software development experience in a professional environment.

5+ years architecting large-scale software solutions.

This background is what it takes to be successful in this position:

Experience in C#, Java, Python, Javascript, C++, or similar.

Experience with Build/Deploy technologies (e.g. Azure DevOps, Maven, Github).

Experience with

Infrastructure-as-Code

(e.g. Terraform).

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of the Agile development process.

Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Strong initiative and drive with high productivity and work ethic.

Identity access management experience.

Multi region disaster recovery experience.
