POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT Moss' Staff Accountant supports the month-end closing process, including maintenance of accounts receivable, cash receipts, owner change order logs, and other projects as assigned. They also assist in the preparation of the monthly financial package. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Assist in month-end close process and preparation of monthly financial statements Project setup and maintenance of all jobs with cost codes in financial system Initiate action with project teams to acquire any missing owner change order documentation Audit owner billings for accuracy prior to posting Conducts Owner Change Order data entry in Microsoft Access and CMiC validation Reconciliation of executed vs. posted owner change orders Prepare Work in Progress (WIP) reporting. Requires an understanding of percent completion revenue recognition Accounts Receivable and cash activity postings Perform other duties as assigned Education And Work Experience Working knowledge of WIP (work in progress) Bachelors in accounting preferred or relevant related experience Construction accounting experience preferred Ability to function in a fast-paced, energized, self-starter environment Detail orientated, organized, excellent problem-solving and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software JOB TITLE:
