Accounting Manager (Gas Plant) - 9637
Responsibilities
Plant activity allocation
Use QuorumTIPS to prepare settlements of plant data
Review results from QuorumTIPS for accuracy against manual allocation schedules
Create solutions and processes to complex situations and problems related to natural gas processing plant activity
Communicate with customer personnel
Review operating results for communication to management
Assist with process improvement initiatives
Other projects as assigned
Accounting
Record revenue activity for multiple business units
Review and final post journal entries
Prepare and Review reconciliations
Review customer statements for completeness and accuracy
Assist with managing status and recording of cash receipts
Research and other communications
Lead team’s effort to address prior period adjustments
Prioritize both customer-requested and management-identified adjustments
Ensure appropriate processing among various systems
Research historical activity with customers as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years processing natural gas revenues; longer service and gas plant allocations are pluses
Experience with U.S. GAAP a plus, particularly with ASC 606, Revenue Recognition
Ability to calculate natural gas processing plant allocations
Experience with natural gas settlements
Current CPA license is a plus
