We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Accountant

to join our client's

manufacturing

company

permanently . The ideal candidate will thrive independently and, in a team, have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and cost accounting within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities : Manage the month-end closing process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing costs and inventory valuations. Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights on areas for improvement and cost optimization. Conduct financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders, including identifying areas of risk and recommending appropriate actions. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits. Participate in the annual budgeting process, providing guidance on cost drivers, revenue projections, and financial goals. Support senior leadership in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis. Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems, with moderate Excel skills. Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. #li-am1 #IND2
