The Role It’s an exciting time to join the Global Talent Management Organization As the Talent Management Lead (Talent Partner) for the McKesson Technology business, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and efforts through this dynamic organization by driving the McKesson talent strategy through practical talent solutions. The Talent Partner will partner with Executive Talent Acquisition, Talent Planning/Succession and Assessment, the business HRBPs, and senior McKesson leadership to drive talent strategies and programs, and retention through accurate identification of high potential talent, partnership in the selection and onboarding process, coaching, development of talent, and succession planning. Key Responsibilities Act as Business Unit talent strategist and expert on talent with a focus on building a diverse pipeline. Leverage talent data and insights to build BU talent strategy in alignment with enterprise business and talent needs. Partner with SVP, HR for MT and Sr. HRBPs to build local strategies to solve talent gaps and ensure the organization culture will engage and retain top talent. Act as subject matter expert, thought leader, and advisor to Executive Leaders on the talent needs of their top high potential leaders. Partner with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team to build diverse pipelines and partner on innovative solutions for infusing diversity in leadership. Utilize assessment outcomes to coach and develop direct reports to the Business President’s, VPs, High Potentials and leaders of growth areas through identified assessment processes and custom individual development plans. Lead talent review and succession planning processes ensuring inclusive processes. Ensure best-in-class BU executive experience through onboarding and assimilation activities for Executive and VP external hires and internal promotions. Partner with Talent Acquisition to contribute to diverse executive selection approach for BU President and direct report to BU President talent. Review selections made by Leadership to identify and aggregate BU nominees for HiPo programs and other development opportunities. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience within a complex and high-growth organization. 10 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Management with at least 5 years’ experience in Talent Management. Prior experience developing Talent Management strategies connected to business priorities. Consulting experience and/or experience as a leader of a Talent Management organization is a plus. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, HR, OD, or similar field. Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, HR, OD, or similar field.
