Job Description
Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Server Assistant and play a crucial role in supporting our Food Servers and enhancing guest dining experiences. This position requires a dynamic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of food and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Assist Food Servers with taking and delivering food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately.
- Clear and reset tables quickly between seatings to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Ensure that condiments, utensils, and other dining essentials are fully stocked and available for guests.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate the timely delivery of orders and fulfill guest requests.
- Provide friendly and attentive service, responding swiftly to guest needs and inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with Food Servers and other team members to facilitate smooth restaurant operations and efficient service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing with accuracy and integrity.
- Previous experience as a server assistant or in a similar dining service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, capable of engaging positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
- Physical stamina to lift, pull, and push moderate weights throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
