Responsibilities:
- Work closely with legal team to help oversee and support various compliance and reporting activities
- Manage projects, compile and summarize data, draft and review documents, and maintain records, as well as managing the department's document system
- Assist with litigation-related tasks, including managing litigation holds and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, preparing expense reports, handling correspondence, managing travel logistics, and other tasks as assigned
- Support corporate acquisitions, including conducting due diligence, assisting with document preparation, obtaining necessary certificates, and performing UCC searches
- Conduct legal and business research, documenting and presenting findings in written reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification required
- 3-4+ years working as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm setting
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and experience with PACER
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and promptly
- Demonstrated dependability, attention to detail, and flexibility
