This role requires strong financial and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with both the Country Managing Director and Sub-Region CFO. Responsibilities

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Collaborate with the Country Managing Director to provide financial analysis and guidance on business initiatives, growth strategies, and cost optimization. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with various departments to create accurate and comprehensive financial projections. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed. Ensure adherence to internal control rules and implement robust internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data and protect the organization’s assets. Manage the local team of accountants, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to ensure their professional growth and the effective execution of their responsibilities. Work closely with the Sub-Region CFO to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and maintain a strong relationship between country and sub-region finance teams. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Qualified (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position, preferably within the logistics industry. Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
