Job Description:

• In charge of the monthly close cycle, including preparing for financial closes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. • Oversees general ledger entries and manages transactions within the general ledger. • Handles account reconciliation preparations and reviews by validating accounts and reviewing inconsistencies. • Researches and explains variances in financial discrepancies. • Provides direct reports guidance, including performance reviews. • Showcases knowledge of corporate accounting, GAAP, and reporting. • Administers various financial functions such as accounts payable, cost accounting, and the general ledger. • Completes special projects and ad hoc reporting, including analyzing various ongoing initiatives. • Establishes and enforces internal controls to safeguard company assets, policies, and standard operating procedures. • Assists with development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required • CPA or other advanced designation preferred • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience required • Cost accounting experience required • 2+ years of accounting supervisory experience required • Experience with Microsoft Excel required #ACCNOR #J-18808-Ljbffr
