The Jr. IT Business Analyst will provide project management and requirement gathering related to the ERP systems and upgrades, application and interface implementations, and EDI system implementations and upgrades. The Jr. Business Analyst will also be responsible for providing backup support to the EDI Analyst, project management of new EDI customer onboarding, and user support projects related to SAP, legacy ERP, and EDI systems. Other key aspects of this position contribute to achieving and sustaining the Yakima Strategic Business Plan and Initiatives, global competitive advantage, and profitable market growth strategy.

Primary responsibilities for the Jr. IT BSA include:

Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the businessBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersAct as a liaison between the business and ITIdentifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunitiesIdentify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex levelIdentifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfactionElicit and clearly document business and system requirementsSupports projects related to SAP and EDI systemsSupport projects related to new EDI customer onboardingProvide project level analysis producing required project analysis documentationProvide backup support to the EDI Analyst for EDI daily operationsProvide user support related to SAP and EDI systemsPerform daily maintenance tasks as assignedPromote SDLC and ITIL best practices and policiesSupport Internal Audit functionsSpecifics Include:

Support projects related to SAP and EDI system implementations and upgrades and migrations as assignedGathering and analysis of system requirements, creating definitions, system design, and coordination of the implementation of new solutions, as well as enhancing and maintaining existing systemsSupport the installation, configuration and support of appropriate third-party software required for decision support solutionsDevelop and execute test plansUnderstand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholdersProvide general support and troubleshooting to customer service, the warehouses, and the EDI AnalystAssist in planning, scheduling and monitoring of projects and resources related to development effortsIdentify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfactionTravel as required to support remote installation sites and users of decision support applicationsResponsible for working irregular hours and responding to after-hour emergency calls to handle application problems, or as needed as larger projects requireKeep informed of latest developments in the field by reading, individual contacts, and attendance at appropriate meetings and industry functionsWhat you Bring:

BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experienceHighly effective oral and written communication skills required, including documentation of applications, training materials, and presentation materialsStrong project management skills along with strong experience in gathering project requirements and system design requiredKnowledge of ERP systems and functional business areas: Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and EDI requiredSAP experience preferredProgramming and application development experience preferredExperience in LINUX and UNIX OS environments preferred5 years experience in completing and managing projects with minimal oversight and against aggressive timelinesExperience working directly with staff from several departments and with contractors and suppliersStrong organizational and technical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks, set and manage priorities and meet required deadlines; ability to work under pressure and maintain strict timelines through project completionStrong analytical skills, which are required in the design and development of required application solutionsMust be highly motivated and self-directed and able to work without close supervisionAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and management, both as an analyst and in a technical expert role; ability to work effectively in teams
