Our client, a major Financial Services Solutions provider, is seeking an Business Analyst

Location: Oswego, IL/ Remote
Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Looking for a Business Analyst to work remote. Our organization has an influx of projects in IT Infrastructure, Security and other support areas. Need to supplement PMO team with additional BA function (someone to help gather requirements). As new projects begin, this resource will take point and engage other stakeholders to identify and document the project scope, work with product requestors and other parties to define the deliverables, help establish hi-level timelines, review/plan resource requirements, and generally aid with requirements gathering (creating the framework for PM to run with). This person needs to feel comfortable walking into an organization and taking the lead to help support project planning efforts.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years BA experience (in infrastructure environment)
  • Experience gathering requirements for Infrastructure, Security and or product related projects
  • ADO or JIRA
  • IT Infrastructure background (basic understanding of firewall changes, cloud, servers etc. )
  • Waterfall methodology experience
  • Ability to support large scale projects that cross multiple teams (requires working with senior level management)
  • Solid resource planning skills
  • Must be detail oriented and very organized
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Good presentation skills, easy to follow and understand
  • Good at interviewing IT SMEs to gather technical information for new/existing projects
  • Positive, friendly nature - ability to build relationships with our IT SMEs and stakeholders
