We are looking forcandidates who are self-driven, efficient with deadlines, and able to workeffectively with diverse teams of engineers, marketers, and design staffto create persuasive content and standout deliverables. The successfulcandidate will partner and work closely with senior marketing and salesleaders ontracking opportunities and developing strategies to capture work incompetitive markets; creatingpersuasive proposals, presentations, andmarketing materials; and maintainingsystems and tools to promote overallefficiency and effectiveness. The position provides a variety of sales andmarketing support functions as outlined below.Detailed Description:Detailed Description:The Marketing/Proposal Senior Specialist works closely with senior leaderssupporting sales/marketing and business development efforts, includingproposal tracking and research; supporting pre-positioning activities;creation of persuasive proposals, presentations, and marketingmaterials; team development and training; research of pursuits and clientorganizations; and maintenance of systems and tools to promote overallefficiency and effectiveness. This position will be based in one of ourCentral Area offices. Primary responsibilities include:Proposal / Presentation Development:Partners with pursuit teams on Areawater, wastewater, and infrastructure pursuits to advance our positioningand deliver proposals that resonate with our clients. Responsibilities includecoordinating all elements of pursuits: client and pursuit strategydevelopment, developing strong and compelling messaging for proposals,developing new content that aligns with positioning strategy to drive winthemes, formatting, proofreading, coordination with graphics,editing/review, compliance, brand adherence, and efficient and timelyproduction. Candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experiencedirecting and leading similar type proposals and facilitating robustpositioning discussions. Demonstrated experience leading interview preparationand coaching of technical staff is a plus.Client Development: Provides general business development support tofacilitate client contact by Client Service Managers (CSM), includingassembling information packages, connecting CSMs to other clients,experts, and opportunities within the organization, organizing clientworkshops and special events, and maintaining marketing files.Work with CSMsto understand and respond to client needs, meetings, and events. Workingwith technical teams to help further develop a strong client and businessmindset by encouraging out of the box activities to further expand clientrelationships and understand how to link to strong pursuit capture plans.Business Development: Contributes to company marketing process improvementsto support efficiency and overall sales program effectiveness.Providesplanning support for regional conferences to maximize presence and investment.Marketing Information:Manages process to create and maintainwell-organized, up-to-date qualifications statements, projectdescriptions, and resumes that reflect firm strengths and clientbenefits.Provides timely entry of accurate and complete opportunityinformation and products in company tracking system.Desired Skills and Experience:A Bachelor's degree (Communications, English, Journalism, orMarketing preferred) with 6-10 years of experience in a related role,preferably in the engineering, environmental, architectural, and/orconstructioExcellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superiorpersuas ve writing and presentation ability. Experience coaching others ininterviews/presentations required.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as inteam environments, often under tight deadline situations.Ability to identify key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Experience with InDesign highly preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and AdobeInDesign SuiteSalary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based onthe employee's primary work location and maybemore or lessdependinguponskills, experience,and education.
