Recognizing that the body's innate healing powers can be harnessed and manipulated to improve the healing process has led to exciting advances in surgical techniques.Building on our legacy of excellence in orthopaedic sports medicine, SPRI is unlocking the secrets of healing, finding cures and enhancing lives through global leadership in regenerative medicine, scientific research, innovation and education.The Media Production Specialist is responsible for filming and editing digital media content for medical education, training, special events and marketing content in an orthopaedic clinic and research institute setting.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Film long- and short-form digital media content for a variety of educational and training purposes.Edit digital video to produce content for education, training, marketing, and special events.Work independently and collaboratively to produce digital content for cross-platform distribution.Interact professionally with internal and external clients to exceed project expectations.Manage digital media through proper offloading, transcoding, and archiving.Create basic motion graphics, color correct and mix sound for project delivery.Photograph employee portraits, special events and lab experiments as needed.Set up A/V equipment for in-house and remote special events.Live Stream weekly and monthly educational presentations.Follow policies as established in the Employee Handbook. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights. Access and use the minimum necessary patient identifiable information to perform job responsibilities and duties and only for authorized purposes. Maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic, or verbal form which may jeopardize the privacy of patients or anatomical specimens. Maintain personal commitment to the Steadman Philippon Research Institute's mission and values.Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum three years' experience working in digital media.Experience with 4K and HD video formats, camera operation and basic lighting.Professional efficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro required; experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve a plus.Personal characteristics include flexibility, enthusiasm, effective interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to multitask and prioritize; must be detail oriented.Must be adaptable to unexpected changes and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills. Ability to work with multiple levels of management and surgeons from diverse cultural backgrounds. Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work increased hours during event season, including some evenings and weekends. Over 50 pounds two-person lift and or with other assistance. CLASSIFICATION/BENEFITS: Full-time, year-round non-exempt position. Hiring range $30.00 - $36.00 per hour based on qualifications.
