Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Medical Information Management or Business Related Field Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Direct support experience for a Digital Medical Record system to include Workflow Development and Design Minimum five years' experience with supporting or managing a Health Information Management department Experience within or directly with a Health Information (Medical Records) hospital department Certification as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Administrator (RHIA)

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong understanding of Medical Terminology

SKILLS:

Ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows Operating System Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Direct support experience for a Digital Medical Record system to include Workflow Development and Design ICD-10-CM and CPT coding knowledge. Experience working with and supporting Coding and DRG grouper software
