We are seeking a Location Manager who will be responsible for managing overall daily operations for our rental business with the purpose of increasing sales, gross margin, and overall profitability. This will also include all aspects of Rental, Service, and Parts. This position is responsible for implementing succession planning, performance management, and people development initiatives in the store.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for leading, managing, and accountability of the Rental, Sales, Parts, and Service functions of the Dothan location. This position understands the need to help develop and meet commitments to the location and the company. This role has the responsibility to enforce company policies and procedures to assure alignment within and across the department and location. This position is also responsible for maintaining high coworker morale, and customer service, as well as attaining short and long-term objectives for the organization. This role will also ensure proactive safety measurements are made and that all teammates are working in a safe environment while following company, OSHA, and EPA requirements for a safe working environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Leads the process of defining and communicating the Business' values/principles, vision, and mission.
  • Drive team performance to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and company goals are met or exceeded
  • Manage and coach team by engaging with Human Resources to assist with organizational structure and planning, talent management and development, and coworker relations issues
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop a recruiting strategy regarding external and internal recruitment needs
  • Advise the Regional Director concerning issues related to store operations
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free workplace that is inclusive of all coworkers.
  • Provide the direction and leadership that is required to achieve customer satisfaction standards as well as carry out the communication of the vision for this location and the company.
  • Learn multiple roles at a level to be able to support the location when a backup is needed.
  • Ability to multitask and pick up projects that require attention to detail and high organizational skills.
  • Take necessary action(s) to assist individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Stay up to date with and use the technology and systems utilized throughout the company.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and segment President for your location. You are jointly responsible for achieving the sales goals.
  • Be a good representative for the location, company and corporation in the community.
  • Ability to be a trustworthy and respected business partner across all departments within the organization.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:
  • Strong leadership background
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • 3-5 years of running, managing and leading a retail store unit.
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Good Decision-making skills- the ability to collect, assess and interpret relevant information and make sound decisions
  • Integrity- maintain a high level of integrity in your actions and words
