Human Resources Assistant

- Experience working in human resources, specifically interviewing candidates in-person and by phone, preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize projects and workload.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, ability to learn and utilize other software programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using HRIS software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Able to take initiative and work independently.
Responsibilities (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered to be all inclusive):
- Assist with job postings, applicant screening, and hiring/onboarding tasks.
- Assist current team members, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and current files, records, and documentation related to HR.
- Provide clerical support to the HR department.
- Assist in executing employee appreciation events.
- Assist with performance improvement projects for Human Resources.
- Assist with new team member orientation.
- Assist with policy updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
