The Truist Digital Sales & Performance Marketing Analytics Team works to maximize the return on Truist's digital investments. This includes supporting the optimization of performance marketing and client experience through insightful measurement and analysis of business objectives to defined digital KPIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Partner with senior business leaders to understand business strategy and work in cross-functional teams to drive successful strategic outcomes.
2. Lead analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, performance measurement, and the interpretation of results for both internal and external stakeholders.
3. Lead analysis effort to gather, formulate, define, and design solutions to the most complex business problems.
4. Analyze, design, and maintain data sources in information systems in support of projects, information needs, and changing requirements.
5. Measure client interaction in order to improve client experience, digital adoption, and marketing segmentation using various analytics tools (SAS, Adobe Analytics, R, Python, etc.).
6. Apply subject-matter expertise, industry knowledge, and technical understanding to recommend actions to business leaders.
7. Act as team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of short-to-intermediate duration.
8. Interpret business goals for development of measurement strategies to inform stakeholders of progress against key business objectives.
9. Complete analysis to derive data-driven insights on visitor behavior and preferences, including likely approaches for optimization and targeting.
10. Monitor site performance to identify site optimization opportunities.
11. Partner with digital operations and project teams to develop tagging routines in support of analytics requirements, and to expand the use of analytics across all digital properties.
12. Provide marketing database and technical integration in support of digital sales and personalization strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Five to ten years of experience in analysis and design
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills - ability to generate actionable insight and recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets
5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
8. Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Statistics.
2. Previous experience in the banking industry
3. Understanding and implementation experience with enterprise digital marketing optimization and analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Marketing Cloud Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Client Journey Analytics (CJA)
4. Working knowledge of analytical toolsets such as SAS (Enterprise Guide & Miner), R Studio, Python, Data warehousing

5. Prior experience with enterprise level web analytics and marketing tools (Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, Webtrends),

6. 2+ years in a client facing role developing, implementing and managing a digital web analytics platform for a client.

7. 2+ years experience in measuring and analyzing websites.

8. Experience partnering with media agencies to develop best overall measurement solutions.

9. Superior understanding of web analytics tools: Google Analytics and at least one Enterprise-level platform (Adobe Analytics Omniture SiteCatalyst, WebTrends, CoreMetrics).

10. Previous data analysis experience using Python/R

11. Experience with SEO and SEM.

12. Experience in A/B testing or multivariate testing.

13. Experience in the financial industry (consumer and business-facing).

14. Professional certifications and continuing education history a plus

Availability
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
