What you'll do as an AP Accountant:

  • Process and manage a high volume of invoices in a timely manner.
  • Perform 3-way match to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all invoices are approved with supporting documentation before payments are made.
  • Investigate and resolve vendor/invoice discrepancies effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and execute payments via various methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

What you'll need to succeed as an AP Accountant:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a focus on high-volume invoice processing and 3-way matching.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Netsuite is a strong plus
  • Tech savvy and excellent written and verbal communication
