Duties: - Manage financial accounting aspects, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. - Ensure precise and timely preparation of financial statements following GAAP standards. - Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger accounts for accuracy. - Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning initiatives. - Develop and implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. - Provide financial analysis and insights to aid in business decisions and identify areas for enhancement. - Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements. - Stay abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices for compliance and continuous improvement. - Very IMPORTANT to be able to do Cash Reconciliation for multiple accounts - Backup on doing a Daily Operation report in excel - Back up on Payroll. - Back up on Corporate AP Requirements: - Wholesale Experience preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred. - Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in corporate accounting. - Strong technical accounting knowledge with a deep understanding of GAAP principles. - Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. - Experience with regulatory reporting requirements. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
