Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Job Requirements: Schedule: 10hr Shifts - Weds/Thurs/Fri/Sat 12:00pm-10:00pmHigh School Diploma or GED, and one year of addiction treatment experience.Minimum CNA, MA, or EMT certification.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training complete within three monthsSkilled in behavioral management techniquesAbility to lead discussion and educational presentationsValid Illinois driver's licenseEssential Responsibilities:Work hours prescribed by Nursing Manager and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.Assist with client admissions and discharges as directed.Verify admissions medications at admission with client's physician or pharmacy.Conduct client health history/assessment and report to nurse prior to admission.Transcribe orders.Assist with vital signs assessments.Assist with withdrawal screens as directed by the nurse.Provide follow up communication to clients with ongoing medical concerns.May participate in client rounds on the Unit(s) assigned.Monitor and document client's response to medication and report any notable response immediately.Act as an advocate for all clients and report all physical/psychological concerns to the medical and clinical staff.Supervise and manage the behavior of the clients and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.Facilitate communication between clinical and medical staff.Assist with unit tech responsibilities as directed.Provide client education in individual and group settings on topics including: medications, physical health, mental health and alcohol and substance abuse issues.Document client's progress in the individualized Medical Treatment Plan for designated clients.Schedule client follow up medical appointments and coordinate transportation if necessary to outside providers.Read all logs and obtain pertinent information from staff of previous shifts, counselors, staff, etc. Assist with preparing clients for medical consultation.Document pertinent information daily in the EHR based on observations and involvement with the patients as required.Transport clients as required.Serve as a member of the Health Services team and participate in all team meetings and activities.Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as nursing meetings, department meetings, or appropriate committee meetings as designated.Oversee and maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the unit and the proper use of the equipment and supplies and to inform the proper person when supplies or repairs are indicated.Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.Assume any additional responsibilities as assigned.Schedule:10hr Shifts - Weds/Thurs/Fri/Sat 12:00pm-10:00pmJob Type: Full-timePay: Based on education, experience and credentialsWork Location: Rosecrance Mulberry Center - Rockford, ILBenefits: Rosecrance values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Salary based on education, experience, and credentialsMedical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options to meet your needs401(k) plan with employer match and discretionary employer contributionGroup Life Insurance including LTD and AD&DTuition assistance and licensure/certification reimbursementPaid Time Off, sick time, bereavement leaveReferral program earning up to $1,000 per hireWellness plan with certain facilities offering an on-site gymAbout Us:Rosecrance has been at the forefront of providing behavioral health services for over a century.
