Your role

We're looking for a Market Director to:
• create a vision and business development strategy for Franklin, TN
• coach financial advisors to deliver excellent client service, drive business growth, improve retention and establish a robust local presence
• set financial advisor recruiting goals, lead recruiting activities and oversee the transition of advisors
• monitor and resolve (in collaboration with partners) escalated issues, including financial, reputational, compliance, supervisory, operational and HR governance risks
• partner with the management team to manage day-to-day activities
• manage P&L, and incorporate P&L considerations in business decisions

Your team

You'll be working as part of Wealth Management Americas. We help high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families meet their financial goals through financial advisors who deliver products and services specifically designed for them. You will lead a local branch office, reporting directly to the Market Executive. You'll manage a group of financial advisors across your market acting as a coach on all aspects of their roles.

Your expertise
• ideally 15 + years of experience with a leading financial institution
• proven leadership experience in the industry
• FINRA Registrations: Series 3 (where applicable) Series 7, 66, 8 or 9, and 10
• life and Health Insurance license
• motivated, self-directed and driven
• skilled at creating a positive business culture
• result-oriented and assertive (you don't shy away from challenging situations)
