ARC rents and supports the full range of Still and Motion cameras (including Lenses & Accessories), Lighting, and Grip Equipment. We are a one-stop destination for all sorts of shoots, carrying the most comprehensive list of DSLRs, Digital Backs, Video and Digital Cinema Cameras, Strobes & Continuous Lights, at rates that make sense.
**Job Summary:**
**The Check in Rental Agent is responsible for the intake and processing of all returning equipment in an accurate and timely manner.**
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Provide all clients with great customer service
* Scan equipment from returning orders accurately and in a timely manner.
* Identify missing & damaged items and promptly inform Business Development Manager assigned to account and Administration Dept.
* Report outstanding lost or damaged equipment to Business Development Manager assigned to account and Administration Dept
* Assist & coordinate sub-rental returns with Q.C. & Inventory Dept.
* Assist in inventory organization as needed
* Provide support for Q.C. technicians and Order Fulfillment Dept.
* Assist clients and co-workers with loading equipment in and out of the facility
* Ensure all gear is returned accurately and handled with care.
* Have working knowledge of Photographic/Video/Lighting equipment.
* Efficacy in communicating and dealing with high profile clients.
* Maintain a professional appearance.
* Additional Responsibilities may be assigned to meet our business needs
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* Have working knowledge of Photographic/Video/Lighting equipment.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
* Prior rental house or equipment cage experience a plus
* Meticulous attention to detail a must
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize / rapidly re-prioritize with the shifting needs of the day
* Excellent communication skills a must (written & verbal)
