Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our talent acquisition efforts and support the rapid growth of our operations throughout the US and Canada. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a strategic role in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing complex hiring needs, and providing leadership and mentorship to the recruitment team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the full cycle recruitment process for various non-exempt and exempt level positions.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to address talent gaps and support organizational goals.
  • Design and customize hiring stages based on each position's requirements, ensuring a thorough and efficient recruitment process.
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and interview question kits that attract top talent and align with organizational needs.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including behavioral interviews, technical assessments, and competency evaluations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including building relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior recruiters, guiding them in recruitment best practices and professional development.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve recruitment processes.
  • Organize and execute hiring events, such as job fairs, career days, and in-house recruitment events.
  • Ensure communication with candidates is prompt, professional, and provides a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Review HR practices and ensure they are applied consistently and effectively throughout the recruitment process.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a proven track record of guiding and developing junior recruiters.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies to address organizational needs.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, environments, and responsibilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of recruitment, including candidate assessments and data management.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and work as part of a team to achieve recruitment goals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles, with a focus on handling complex hiring needs and providing leadership and mentorship.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite at an intermediate operating level.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with making outbound calls daily, scheduling interviews, extending offers, completing reference checks, and onboarding candidates.
  • Experience with posting jobs on sites such as Indeed, CareerBuilder, and Facebook.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Production recruiting - preferred.
