Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the roofing industry. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Perform detailed site inspections and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates. Prepare comprehensive roofing project estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Develop and present detailed proposals and bids to clients. Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to ensure project estimates align with actual execution. Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately determine the scope of work. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and estimating process. Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable projects. Follow up on submitted proposals to close sales and secure contracts. Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project handovers and execution. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Participate in regular sales and estimating meetings to share insights and updates. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the roofing industry. Must have proven experience as a senior roofer/leading hand. Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction methods. Excellent estimating skills with the ability to accurately assess project costs and timelines. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals. Must be very well presented. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
