Position Summary:

Responsible for the oversight of all hydraulic remanufacturing, repair, and manufacturing functions and personnel. Facilitating the resolution of problems that arise with all projects, working with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Sales Territory Managers and Technology Managers, as well as directly with customers to determine project priority. Collaborate with the Director of Systems - Motion Solutions to determine most efficient and profitable way to complete all projects. Hands-on leadership by example will set the desired tone and pace of the remanufacturing shop.

Primary Duties:
  • Set a positive team atmosphere, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and communicate professionally and positively with customers, coworkers, and employees.
  • Coordinating with customer service and manufacturing, via daily production meeting, to schedule daily activities and workload for all projects in the shop and in the field.
  • Ensure all procedures and processes are being followed and tasks are completed as committed to customers.
  • Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond quickly and positively with resolution to customer issues and requests.
  • Suggest new hires, train, and develop staff.
  • Address and resolve personnel issues. Collaborate with Director of Systems and HR as needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating service and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner and conduct annual employee performance reviews.
  • Complete forklift/safety orientation course(s); operate forklift as needed.
  • Conduct safety training as directed by the MFCP Safety Director and/or Director of Systems.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Comply with and enforce all company rules, safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Basic Requirements
  • Must be able to read electrical drawings.
  • Have a basic knowledge of tools & machinery such as, cut-off saw, drill press, automated tapping machine, grinder, hand tools, etc.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Utilize good communication skills and present yourself in a professional manner.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Individual must be a team player.
  • Must promote goodwill both internally and externally, inter-departmentally.
  • Maintain all company owned assets and equipment as if your own.
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
  • High school graduate, associate degree or some college preferred, and/or one-year related experience or training.
  • Individuals must complete training courses as required by the company to ensure they have proper product knowledge.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the industries we serve.
  • Must be over the age of 21 for this position, as driving may be required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive. Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring, and climbing ladders as needed. Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, agricultural operations, and any other specific business operations of current or potential customers. The physical demands and work environment reflected are representative of those encountered by employees when performing the essential job functions.
