Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee drywall projects in Eugene, Oregon. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing project activities from start to finish, ensuring that objectives are met. This role requires a strong background in metal stud framing and drywall management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee jobsite operations and ensure the successful completion of projects by planning, scheduling, and executing activities throughout each project phase.
  • Review contract language, scope of work, and special provisions in contracts.
  • Obtain material, subcontractor, and engineering quotes from vendors (project buyout).
  • Assist in selecting vendors and coordinate materials and equipment.
  • Verify quantities, units, and hours during the reverse takeoff process.
  • Prepare RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Develop and coordinate construction project schedules.
  • Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change requests.
  • Update the budget promptly and prepare weekly production reports.
  • Review weekly job cost reports with the project Foreman and team.
  • Prepare billings and approve invoices for payment.
  • Track project progress and spending, ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and communicate effectively to negotiate optimal work sequence positioning.
  • Perform labor control on assigned projects, making adjustments as necessary to maximize profits.
  • Coordinate warranties and O M’s.
  • Be accountable for job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAWs).
  • Provide leadership to the project team throughout construction project development.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience in Metal Stud Framing and Drywall Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • OSHA Certification.
  • Local candidates preferred.
