Job Description

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving the revenue cycle process of the organization. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve revenue cycle performance. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing, coding, and collections.

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing, coding, and collections Monitor and report on revenue cycle metrics Identify and resolve revenue cycle issues Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management Experience with Athenahealth EMR required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
