Party Reflections is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a talented Marketing Manager & Content Creator to become a pivotal part of our team located at our Corporate Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Party Reflections is a leading event rental industry servicing the Carolinas since 1958. This role will be central to enhancing Party Reflections' market presence, driving our marketing strategies, and creating content that resonates across diverse platforms. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of marketing experience, a flair for content creation, and a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and social media strategies. Ideal candidates will bring experience from the event or entertainment marketing sphere, possess strong data analysis skills, and manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively with our team.

The journey with us will be filled with exciting projects from the get-go, including but not limited to competitor analysis, customer experience enhancements, and spearheading innovation initiatives, being at the forefront of integrating AI into our marketing efforts, ensuring our brand shines consistently across all touchpoints, and leading our digital storytelling efforts.

We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is independently innovative, articulate, confident, and always on the pulse of new trends and technologies. In addition to strategic and creative skills, the role will include overseeing outsourced departments to ensure alignment with our goals, crafting an annual budget, and delivering insightful reports to guide our continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must-Have Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation, Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and insights, and other social media/marketing software management (i.e. Hootsuite, Buffer, MailChimp, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role: We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation in marketing principles and strategies, with hands-on experience in executing successful campaigns.
  • Experience in content creation: A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and storytelling abilities, with proven success in creating, engaging, and effective content across various platforms.
  • Experience in digital marketing: A deep understanding of SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and other digital channels, with a track record of driving results and engagement.
  • Experience in event or entertainment industry marketing: An understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in marketing services within the event and entertainment industry, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting: Proficiency in analyzing marketing data, drawing actionable insights, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to inform decision-making.
  • Experience in project management: Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
  • Experience in team collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-starter: Driven, with a knack for taking the initiative.
  • A tech-savvy trendsetter: Always on the lookout for the next big thing.
  • Independently innovative: Comfortable working solo, you bring creativity to life.
  • Ability to articulate well and confidently communicate ideas.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Dive into competitor and current marketing analysis, tackle a customer experience project, and lead an innovation project to set the stage for your role.
  • Creation and management of marketing strategy
  • Enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Creating captivating content across platforms, including YouTube and social media.
  • Strategizing paid marketing to funnel traffic to our website.
  • Crafting targeted email marketing campaigns and innovative sales marketing strategies.
  • Craft an annual budget based on historical data and strategic foresight.
  • Report on progress, assess what's working (or not), and propose data-driven strategies.
  • Oversee outsourced departments (graphic design, web development, SEO, etc.), ensuring value and alignment with our goals.
