Business Development Specialist

JAKTOOL is looking for a Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with customers, and promoting our engineering services and solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and qualify potential customers through market research, networking, trade show attendance and outreach efforts (cold calling, email outreach, social media, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for targeting key accounts and industries.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and challenges.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our services and solutions to prospective customers.
- Tailor presentations and proposals to address the specific requirements of each customer.
- Articulate the value proposition of our services and solutions to demonstrate their benefits and advantages.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and customer feedback.
- Travel to trade shows and other offsite meetings as required
- Other related duties
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years experience is outside sales in an engineering or related professional services field
- Proven track record of success in technical sales or business development, preferably in the engineering services industry
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite
