You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and streamline facility operations, from openings and closures to relocations. Your role will include researching cost-saving vendor relationships, developing comprehensive SOPs, and training new hires. You’ll manage high-impact initiatives, such as establishing robust maintenance and health/safety programs, and support our ambitious growth plans. Leading strategic development and execution, you'll collaborate with the Director of Operations to achieve operational excellence, align with our company values, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position is a remote position with travel up to 20% annually. Our headquarters is in Aurora, Colorado. What you will be doing: Support strategic development of short and long-term operational goals. Identify, plan, and implement key Lean Six Sigma projects to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, cost reduction, and productivity. Implement efficient design layouts, workflows, and systems from product receipt to delivery. Champion continuous improvement; coach and train personnel. Monitor and analyze customer feedback for improvement opportunities. Develop, review, maintain, and train on SOPs and policies. Implement corrective actions and audits to ensure compliance. Maintain Safety and Health Program, investigate errors and incidents. Conduct facility compliance and safety audits, identify improvement areas. Develop and manage KPIs, adjust strategies to meet targets. Conduct process assessments, leverage data for continuous improvement. Support facility and equipment planning for future growth. Research vendor relationships, support new technology initiatives. Promote company culture through leadership aligned with mission and values. Support Director of Operations in employee lifecycle management. Collaborate with other departments on related projects. Participate in professional development and industry networking. Perform additional duties as needed to support operations. Required Skills/Abilities Proficiency in data analysis and project management. Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and time management skills. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or related field, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
