Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Representative role is a pivotal position. It demands the generation of income from both new and existing accounts, along with the cultivation of enduring relationships with our valued business partners.

As a Business Development Representative, you will spearhead the sales of our diverse service offerings through our non-asset (3PL) divisions. This multifaceted role integrates inside sales, account management, customer care, and logistics, making it an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional like yourself. Your responsibilities will include prospecting, engaging, and closing new accounts in collaboration with our Operational/Transportation and Logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new customers using various channels, including cold calls, emails, dormant CRM accounts, referrals, trade shows, and networking.
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through comprehensive mining, analysis, and discovery.
  • Penetrate existing accounts by selling a diverse service portfolio.
  • Conduct client visits, delivering compelling overviews of the company.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to devise solutions aligned with customer needs, encompassing pricing strategies, solution implementation, and future customer growth.
  • Develop robust account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to set up new clients, ensuring seamless integration.

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative/Sales Representative.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cold calling.
  • Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for sales, a strong work ethic, and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed.
  • Success in working collaboratively in a team environment.
