Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for utilizing engineering systems to maintain facility systems at a high level of reliability while identifying areas of opportunity for Continuous Improvement. This position is part of the Facilities and Maintenance department located in Duncan, SC, and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you’ll do: Thorough knowledge and understanding of building systems operations, maintenance, and repair. Design, install, and repair plant utility, HVAC, and building management systems. Plan, execute, and manage capital projects to upgrade current facility equipment resulting in process improvements, cost reduction, or safety improvements. Participate in the build of CAPEX processes to ensure the plant stays current with all needs. Requests project bids, analyzes costs, and oversees on-site work of contractors. Who you are: BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. 3+ years' experience in Facilities Engineering Proficient in mechanical systems and utilities within a similar industry. Experience working with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office. Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and working knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You should be proficient in: Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Facilities Maintenance Experience CAD Software HVAC #J-18808-Ljbffr
