Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Director of Labor Management for Methodist Hospital who is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and evaluation of productivity management within the Facility. In addition, the position will provide leadership and direction to Facility Management. What You Will Do In Your Role:
- Reviews the daily productivity reports to assure that all appropriate data is being captured and that the resulting reports appear meaningful. Specifically, ensuring the PLUS targets roll up at the facility level to equal the monthly budget.
- Ensures the Flexible Position Control Plans for the facility are appropriate and maintained.
- Monitors and communicates problem areas to the appropriate administrator or manager for corrective action.
- Acts as liaison for productivity directives and communications to and from the division and group offices.
- Assures that managers have sufficient education on productivity initiatives, concepts, and tools.
- Ensures that productivity standards are realistic and consistent with the budget.
- Identifies facility improvement opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with standard reporting methodologies.
- Communicates variance issues to the Division PI Labor.
- Education: BS/BA
- Experience: 4 years of progressive leadership experience with proven leadership capabilities within the healthcare industry.
