**Job Details** **Description** **Summary:** The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining a strong presence within the assigned CI Sales Region. The RSM will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships which foster sales and growth for the region and Nortek Security & Control. The RSM must be successful in meeting and exceeding assigned quota and KPIs. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Achieve and consistently exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals for self and team * Regularly interacts with senior leaders and/or customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers/management, or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. * Attend Industry Association events and Customer trade shows as directed * Achieve and constantly exceed KPIs for self and team (e.g., new customers, attachment sales, product launches, etc) * Required to have a strong comfort-level communicating throughout all levels of the organization * Deliver sales and technical presentations to key clients/partners * Analyze and control expenditures of channel to conform to budgetary requirements * Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion * Monitor and evaluate competitors activities and products. Provide competitive intelligence * Work with the Regional Technical Specialist in the territory to ensure proper training and advanced technical support for our partners * Other Duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** * 5 to 7 years sales experience in channel sales management (rep groups, distributors, accounts) in the CI space * Demonstrated successful sales skills core competencies * Track record of growing and acquiring new business * Exceptional negotiation, motivational, relationship-building, and client service skills **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Ability to travel domestically approximately 70%of the time * Intermediate to advanced experience in sales reporting utilizing CRM (such as.
