Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the accurate input of data into our ERP and Warehouse Management system, maintaining proper documentation for incoming and outgoing products. Scheduling carriers for daily inbound and outbound shipments of finished goods and maintaining an accurate filing system. Position also requires that the successful candidate be able to operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and pull and stage orders as necessary.

Essential Duties and Requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Entry of production data into AccPac
  • Determine reason for any production and inventory discrepancies and adjust in Sage/AccPac
  • Verification of receivers and completion of required paperwork.
  • Verification of cycle counts of raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Verification of FIFO to ensure correct product rotation.
  • Verification of shipments, arranging transportation and preparing Bill of Lading and Customs documents.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, with a forklift, pulling orders and staging orders as necessary.
  • Schedules incoming receiving and outgoing shipments daily.
  • Checking incoming and outgoing drivers and coordinating forklift operators to orders accordingly.
  • Ship previous days orders out of WMS system
  • Arrange LTL shipments.
  • Check in drivers and assign dock doors.
  • Post driver door assignment upon driver check in.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as necessary.
  • Answer phones as necessary
  • Responsible for recognizing and reporting food safety and employee safety issues.
  • Schedule CHEP and regular pallet deliveries.
  • Bill CHEP pallets out using the CHEP website.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

-Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),
-Problem solving skills
-Forklift license and previous experience driving in a warehouse
-Minimum 1 to 3 years previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience using a computerized Warehouse Management system.

  • Ability to multitask.

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree is preferred. At 2-3 years experience in a warehouse environment. A food warehouse is preferred.
