Job Posting DescriptionThe Business Operations Administrator II will be responsible to: Design, develop, present and interpret key operating and financial performance measures for leadership. Provide support on matters of billing, payroll, administrative procedures, budgets, and personnel either through direct action, advice or as a liaison with administration across the enterprise.Manage daily admin and financial operations for the dept. Provide support on matters of billing, payroll, admin procedures, budgets, and personnel through direct action, advice or as liaison with other managers and business analystDevelop and administrate clinical/admin budgets, including general, restricted fund and/or foundation budgets. Work with dept staff to insure compliance with dept policies and adherence to budget guidelines. Develop and write new program proposals and capital budget in consultation with senior staffPerform a variety of admin functions for senior staff, management team and staffWork with dept administrator and clinician leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services that support goals and objectives. Participate in business planning, identify personnel needs and resource requirements. Implement approved plans per identified timetables, expected outcomes and measuresManage and oversee supply and equipment inventories, including coordination of facility and equipment maintenance and environmental services. Review and authorize purchase of supplies, equipment and services within budget allocationsDevelop and support processes that measure clinical and administrative productivity, volume, revenue, clinical outcomes, patient and staff satisfaction or other work improvement indicators. Collaborate with peers, staff, or services to determine best practices, desired outcomes and best method of achieving and reporting outcomes. Analyze and prepare reports on all measurement and process improvement activitiesServe on hospital task forces and committees. Work with support departments such as Materials Management, Facilities Planning, HR, ESD and Payroll to ensure good communication and workflow between the department and other departments and services.To qualify, you must have: A Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration or closely related field is required. Master's Degree Preferred.At least 4 year's experience in analytical initiatives designed to facilitate operations/performance improvement in complex healthcare organizations. Experience with finance, knowledge management, and clinical operations are desirable.The analytical skills to resolve problems requiring a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline/field and/or improve enhance or upgrade complex clinical, financial, data processing systems and programs.The ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned unit/department and to persuade and negotiate with peer level managers on issues and programs that impact assigned department.
