The Sales Manager - Oracle Cloud Technology, will play an integral role on our Commercial Sales team to grow AST's local presence through the identification, nurturing and closing of consulting services engagements. This is a US based and full-time remote position, with travel to customer sites as needed. Preferences for home locations include Texas, Illinois, or Colorado. Prior experience on providing modernization services on Oracle technologies and an understanding cloud service providers is helpful.What You'll Do: Responsible for selling AST's service offerings designed around Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) directly into commercial accounts to maximize business value of our customers. Be the trusted consulting services provider to commercial customers on their journeys to cloud such as legacy workload migrations, iPaaS implementations, process automation, or Security for SaaS. Master the AST service offerings around Oracle Platform and Infrastructure solutions and lead customer pursuits such as EBS on OCI, JDE on OCI, re-platforming legacy applications to OCI, and cloud native app development, SOA to OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), Analytics for Oracle SaaS Develop and deepen strong working relationships with Oracle NACI (North America Cloud Infrastructure) sellers focusing on cloud ventures and hypergrowth teams. Joint pursuits with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) field sellers and BD teams to drive OCI consumption through AST professional and managed services. Collaborate with AST BD team on demand generation activities, identify leads via targeted account lists, campaigns, networking, events and/or other sources. Develop executive relationships and build a repeat book of business. Convert leads into qualified pipeline. Be the voice of customer and collaborate with AST emerging technologies practice leaders to share industry trends and client needs, develop & deliver compelling value propositions focusing around OCI-led business transformation. Collaborate with AST sellers to expand with modernization services in AST SaaS accounts. Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in Marketing, Pre-sales, and Delivery to uncover customer needs. Travel to customer sites to identify and develop sales opportunities. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of the AST value proposition. Give engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level. What You Bring: 2 - 5 years of sales or business development experience in a quota carrying role Prior work experience selling within technology services industry desired. Passionate about advances in enterprise technologies and intentional in delivering compelling solutions to enterprise customers. Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform (IaaS and PaaS) solutions, including any of the following: Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management or Business Intelligence. Experience, qualifications, or an understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, enterprise integrations platforms applications is helpful. Certification in Cloud fundamentals such as OCI Foundations, Azure fundamentals or AWS Cloud Practitioner is a big plus. Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people. Able to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision, yet participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed. Ability to execute the AST tip-of-the-spear marketing message in the field and to our partners. Dynamic communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills. Hands-on experience creating and presenting engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level, organized, entrepreneurial, self-starter with applications sales experience, with a focus on building relationships, executing vision, and achieving quota.
