Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Our client is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist with previous experience sourcing for finance, corporate risk and/or HR categories
This is a long term contract that is hybrid in the Deerfield area. W2 only, No C2C.
Responsibilities:
Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop requirements, issue and score RFx events, develop appropriate leverage, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and assist in contracting
Develop and execute RFx, analyze results, establish leverage opportunities, and assess award scenarios
Assist on Vendor evaluation and selection, request for proposals, and vendor negotiation projects
Qualifications:
Experience in sourcing for finance, corporate risk and/or HR categories
Expertise in contract and related contract document negotiation, modification, and execution,
Familiarity with Ariba a plus
